Marine Diesel Engine Governor

Marine Governors designed for diesel engines are made up of two separate systems: unit one is a speed sensing arrangement and the second is a hydraulic unit that operates on the fuel pumps to change the engine power output. The governor communicates with the engine with a feedback mechanism and pushes it to change the speed as desired. The governor acts as an essential and can be classified as speed-regulating governors.
